Construction workers wanted for short Auckland University study
The Department of Psychological Medicine at the University of Auckland is inviting construction workers to take part in a short study about stress and how people deal with it on the job.
The study involves trying a few short videos and practical exercises focused on stress, breathing and movement. These are delivered through an app so researchers can explore whether the exercises could be useful for people working in the construction industry.
It is not counselling, and it is not about suggesting construction stress is “all good”. The aim is simply to find out whether these practical exercises could help.
If you work in construction and have a few minutes, please consider taking part. You can also help by forwarding this to someone in the industry.
