Why Andrew chose Dazzly

Andrew's work at AJ Oliver Homes covered a variety of services including enhancing outdoor living spaces, custom decks & creating stylish fences right to full renovations and complete new builds. He was easily able to create specific services that reflected his work on his website, with his branding colors and logos.

He had looked at some overseas website companies including Wix and Squarespace but they seemed difficult and expensive. Andrew admits “It seemed easy to use. I'm not a tech savvy person. It's been something I can achieve myself without paying an expensive bill.” He appreciated the large number of tools that were available and targeted to his industry.

The in-person aspect

Now that Andrew has his website online he can quickly show his clients through either links to his website or by showing his customer his website exactly what they can anticipate their job to look like on completion. Now when Andrew meets a prospective customer for the first time he can now use his website as a digital pamphlet of his work.

One of Andrew's favorite tools is the device preview tool - the ability to view his website on multiple device screens (mobile, desktop, tablet) and see how his website would look once published.

Andrew notes that Dazzly is really well priced and It's a New Zealand company so there was no downside to choosing Dazzly. “The Dazzly support team rang and they really pushed me to go ahead with it.” He was really on the fence about even having a website “because the construction industry is really a word-of-mouth industry in Andrews opinion. And so most of my jobs came from word of mouth, just people who have heard of me or know me and want to use my service. But the team pushed me in the right direction and I am really grateful for it.”

Jason recognised the need for a stronger online presence as demand for their services grew. He wanted a website showcasing HiFlow Civil's capabilities, allowing clients to get in touch easily, and serving as a portfolio of completed projects. After seeing them on Facebook, he chose to work with Dazzly — a New Zealand-based website builder known for its simplicity, local support, and professional results.

The website came with image galleries, detailed service descriptions, and a contact form for new inquiries. Best of all, Jason can update the website himself, keeping it fresh with new photos and project updates.
